Infrastructure Security
- All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)

- Automated vulnerability scanning on all dependencies
Application Security
- Authentication via industry-standard protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT)
- Password hashing using bcrypt with strong salt rounds
- Role-based access control for team features
- Session management with automatic expiration
- CSRF protection on all state-changing operations
Data Handling
- Your files are only accessible to you and team members you explicitly share with
- AI processing sends only extracted text -- never original files or images
- AI providers (OpenAI) do not retain your data for training
- Complete data deletion within 30 days of account removal
Local Processing Option
SlideSuite supports local PowerPoint processing using your own PowerPoint installation. When using the local agent, your PPTX files are processed on your machine and only extracted metadata is sent to the cloud.
